.............there is nothing nicer than coming home to warming chicken soup after being at work all day..........
.........on saturday we ventured out but the weather just got colder and colder. we had breakfast at one of our favourite places and then picked up some daffodils after doing some errands. the daffodils add a little sunshine don't you think?
......................the quilt came out again at the weekend and i finished the top. i now have to buy some wadding and i have seen some red spotty fabric which would be nice for the underside. i also finished a crochet blanket i was making but will show it to you another time.
...............pot roast was on the menu for sunday which is another warming comfort meal and so easy you can get on with other things like crocheting..........
..................the snow started to fall sunday afternoon and we woke to a snow covered garden this morning. there are little bulbs still pushing through the snow - they are so brave...........

Daffs always add a cheery note to a home - I have some in my kitchen.
I don't know about you but I'm tired of snow now...
hello ! yes daffies are always cheery ! we have been quite lucky where we live as we had only a sprinkling of snow and so no disruption ....I think the garden plants are grateful too as they already had such a wet year to contend with ! your quilt looks great ...you must have lots of patience !! have a nice week...Gail x
